It seems more and more brands of, off-road caravans are appearing on the Aussie market.
But where are these new rugged and off-roaders built? So, in this article we have compiled a list of what off-road caravans are made in Australia.
Off-road vans allow more couples and families to travel the dirt tracks, rougher country roads and explore more places not suitable for the average caravan.
A while ago we wrote an article on – What Caravans Are Made In Australia? But since then, some companies have starting produce just a few select models in Australia, but the other models are made overseas in China.
Just be mindful that even if the off road caravans are being made here in Oz, a lot of the parts and components may be made overseas.

Atlantic Caravans

The Jayco All Terrain Top Pop has JTECH Independent suspension, checker plate and large front tool box. Jayco is a well-known brand for caravans, and also has: Toy haulers, hybrids, camper trailers, campervans and motorhomes.

JB Caravans

Kedron Caravans

Kokoda Caravans

The brands and new models look fantastic for Australian made. Hybrids, light weight models, extreme off-road caravans are really taking off with demand.
If you are looking to buy a new van or off roader, check the camping and caravanning forums to ensure the brand and model you are looking at isn’t a lemon. Unfortunately even if the caravan is made right here in Oz, some can still give you headaches and problems and need new replacement parts.
Check the fine print about what exactly is covered by the warranty.
